Mariela Ure is Chief Marketing Officer at Universal Studios Hollywood. She is responsible for the overall brand direction of the entertainment landmark including the Theme Park, Studio Tour and CityWalk entertainment, dining and shopping complex.
A 20-year marketing veteran, Ms. Ure assumed her current role with Universal Studios Hollywood in 2018. Previously, she was with Wells Fargo & Company, where she held various corporate marketing strategy roles over the past seven years. In her most recent position as SVP and Head of Consumer Segments Strategy, Ms. Ure led the development of cross-enterprise segment strategies to grow market share in the U.S. Prior to that, Ms. Ure spent eight years with Bank of America’s Corporate Headquarters in a variety of advertising and marketing communications roles. She began her career in the marketing department of Walt Disney World in Florida.
Throughout her career, Mariela has been recognized for her leadership and contributions to the U.S Hispanic community. Most recently she was recognized as one of “Top 50 U.S. Hispanic Influentials” by Hispanic Business Magazine.
A native of Puerto Rico, she earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Ms. Ure resides in Los Angeles.
