Originally from Auckland, Annette has worked across the open space, parks, sport, recreation and community facilities environment. She has a broad experience base built up over the last 20 years in an industry she’s passionate about. This has included the entire city North, Central, South, West & Hauraki Gulf islands, the Central North Islands National Parks and more recently Hamilton City. She is a global learner and networker – efficient and connected who genuinely enjoys working with a diverse range of people, partners and stakeholder groups to make things happen. She likes challenge in her work, to explore the possibilities and approach things with curiosity, vision and inspiration - with a view to develop solutions that benefit people, in an innovative and original way. Her interest is in the broad nature of our industry, the urbanisation and growth challenges we face globally, demographics, intergenerational wellbeing, climate, resilience, resources and sustainability. As an avid outdoors enthusiast, horticulturist, humanitarian, nature and society geographer; with a huge passion for people and photography - Annette enjoys a range of sports and activities in nature and the wilderness, at home and overseas.
