Bakels Edible Oils
Responsible for the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems at Bakels Edible Oils (NZ) Ltd, including HACCP based Food Safety Programmes (FSP) and Risk Management Programmes (RMP) approved by MPI for the manufacture of edible oils; plant oils, dairy and tallow for both domestic and export customers.
Experienced in the implementation and maintenance of internationally recognised Food Safety and Quality Management Systems such as FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001, environmental certification, sustainability certification (RSPO) and organic certification.
Trained as a lead auditor with over 10 years’ experience in auditing against MPI regulatory and overseas market access requirements in the dairy and meat sectors. Internal audits, regulatory, customer and religious audits and supplier approval audits.
Proactive in raising awareness of Food Safety and Quality requirements and communicating throughout the organisation knowledge of new and emerging food safety hazards as well as the management of specific Food Safety and Quality objectives.
