Ranvir Singh works as a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Hydrology and Soil Science at Massey University in Palmerston North. He studied a Masters in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar (India) and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University in The Netherlands. He has worked and researched on environmental hydrology and water quality issues at Iowa State University (USA) and Western Sydney University in Australia. Since 2010 he has been working at Massey University. Ranvir is currently leading a collaborative research programme, between Massey University Fertilizer and Lime Research Centre and Horizons Regional Council, to better understand, quantify and model nutrient sources, their flow pathways and potential attenuation strategies in sensitive agricultural catchments.
