Rachel Froggatt is a senior communications strategist with a 15-year career in the global sports and media industries. Based in both APAC and EMEA during her career, she has held a variety of leadership roles in PR and media relations, sponsorship, marketing, advertising, licensing, digital/social communications and events, with an emphasis on commercial strategy and creative communications.
Over the years, Rachel has worked extensively with high profile brands across the insurance, investment, energy, automotive, telecommunications and FMCG sectors, such as Allianz, Shell, Ford, Cadbury, Visa and NTT DoCoMo.
She has led programmes across many sports, including Paralympics, Formula 1 and various motorsports, football, athletics, rugby, golf and cricket and built relationships with many of the largest sports right-holders in the world, including the Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault F1 Teams, FC Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona and the International Paralympic Committee.
She has also worked extensively with many of the largest media owners and brands globally, including CNN, BBC, the Wall Street Journal, the Sun, the Times, the Guardian and back home in New Zealand, TVNZ, Mediaworks, NZME, Fairfax and more.
