This award celebrates events made successful by a team. Corporate meetings, AGMs through to client functions, community events, fundraisers and Christmas parties – event teams master them all. Whether large one-off events, a series or small events are the focus, more often than not budgets are tight, briefs sketchy and deadlines hard and fast! This award recognises the skill and attributes that combine to create great results – whether it be inhouse event teams to event project leaders supported by expert suppliers or a partnership approach.
Submissions should include details and supporting material on successful events produced in the year prior to the close of nominations, including objectives, challenges and setbacks faced, management of communications with decision-makers/budget holders, logistics and any promotional material produced. The judges will be looking at successful event outcomes as well as superb team cohesion. Particular emphasis in judging will be given to entries that demonstrate creative thinking in overcoming risks or unexpected disruptions and/or impressive results compared to budget.
Submissions must include one or more detailed testimonials from a colleague(s), supplier or supporting organisation
- The team could be inhouse or include external suppliers or partners and could work across multiple sites or branches
- A single, designated point of contact must be provided
- A team may enter themselves or be nominated by colleagues
- Multiple entries for separate nominations from one organisation are accepted
