Polly Pope (LLB (Hons), MIR) is a commercial litigator with a particular interest in construction disputes. In the construction space she acts for principals and contractors in arbitrations and court proceedings. Polly is an Associate of AMINZ and a member of it appointments' panel, a member of the Society for Construction Law, of Women in Infrastructure and of the Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association of New Zealand.
Michael Taylor practices in commercial litigation and advocacy with a particular focus on Construction and Information Communications and Technology. He is a member of UK and NZ Societies of Construction Law. Michael practiced at the London Commercial Bar for over 15 years before joining Russell McVeagh. He has acted for employers, contractors, sub-contractors, professionals and insurers on all aspects of construction projects, including litigation, adjudication (including enforcement), arbitration and ADR. Michael has also appeared in cases involving professional negligence claims against construction professionals including architects, project managers and quantity surveyors.

Stanil and his team are responsible for primary relationships with new and existing commissioners for the development of standards, national standards bodies, and relationships with committee members. The team is focused on delivering standards and other documents that are of high quality, on time, on budget, and ultimately satisfy the needs of customers, consumers, and sponsors. Stanil comes to Standards New Zealand from the Licensed Building Practitioners scheme within MBIE where he guided a nationwide network of building and construction assessors and played a leading role in development and implementation of regulatory policy, including the LBP Skills Maintenance Scheme. Stanil is a Certified Microsoft Office Professional and Certified PRINCE 2 Practitioner.
