The new Government has outlined an intention to move towards a carbon neutral economy for New Zealand with the first steps being a consultation process to develop Zero Carbon Legislation. This conference aims to discuss how the new proposed legislation will affect the ways New Zealand can effectively manage it’s natural resources within the context of the Resource Management Act 1991, efficiently facilitate urban development capacity, and future plan for sustainable growth of our cities moving towards the goal of carbon neutrality.
