Engaging for Success: building effective long term relationships
9 December 2020, 9.00 am - 12.30 pm

A stakeholder is anyone who can make or break your business, project or change initiative. However, there is more to engaging with your stakeholders than having a communication plan, good PR, holding liaison meetings, having representatives on your advisory boards and consulting on important developments. In fact, many methods, including consultation, are now contributing to disengagement.

This practical workshop will introduce you to contemporary thinking on stakeholder engagement and give you practical tools to work more effectively with your key stakeholders.

Topics

• What stakeholder engagement is and isn’t and why it is important now

• Moving from consultation to collaboration and engagement – the 3 C’s framework

• Six characteristics of effective engaged relationships

• Using the 6-factor tool to evaluate key relationships and to build a targeted strategy.
