Gunjan Bhow served most recently as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Digital/Mobile/eCommerce at The Walt Disney Company. In this role, he led the digital transformation of the Walt Disney Company, bringing it closer to the consumer by leading initiatives around data, artificial intelligence, commerce, digital marketing, IoT, and omnichannel. Prior to Disney, Bhow was a General Manager of digital products at Amazon. Among the several products he led, the most notable was the speech engine behind Amazon Echo, the breakthrough user experience in digital assistants. Bhow brings over 25 years of consumer technology and business experience, gained at leading technology companies including Amazon, Microsoft, and Plantronics. Most recently, Bhow led the various teams at Amazon including Amazon Echo, Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, the fastest selling product in Amazon’s history. Additionally, as a senior executive in Amazon’s digital division, he defined and led strategies for new products related to Internet of Things and Home Automation. Prior to that, Bhow was part of the executive team leading the transformation of Plantronics from a telecommunication equipment vendor to a wearable and IoT product innovator. Over his career, Bhow has developed products, applications, and solutions used by over 50 million consumers globally, across mobile, TV, and desktop platforms. Bhow is a frequent speaker on issues around omnichannel, mobile, digital transformation of businesses, and Internet of Things. Bhow holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Hayley joined Inland Revenue’s Information, Intelligence and Communications group last March, having been the CIO at Crown Law where she led significant technology transformation and security programmes. Prior to relocating to NZ, Hayley was Head of Transformation at Transport for London. She has been a member of the NZ CIO Summit Advisory Board for the past two years (2016 and 2017) and was nominated for NZ CIO of the Year 2015/16 for transformational leadership as CIO at Crown Law.

John has worked in the IT industry for 20 years, predominantly within the telecommunications industry. This is for both solution providers and operators (mobile and fixed line). His career has taken him from a Siemens' R&D center, to product development and account management with solution vendors. Along with the IT and Engineering departments of telecommunications operators. This journey has given him a thorough understanding of the technical and business requirements of technology led companies. During this time he has been involved with in-house product development and major integration projects. While he has helped define software development and architectural guidelines and governance. He has a strong technical background based on both theory and practice, mingled with a pragmatic approach to the implementation of sound software and architecture principles. This is coupled with a genuine desire to help people understand how good methodology can deliver the right results.
