Downstream is New Zealand's premier event for everyone involved directly or indirectly in the downstream energy industry.
This must-attend industry event offers insight into current energy sector challenges and opportunities such as network performance, distributed energy, the changing retail landscape, regulated markets, emissions, technology and customer trends.
After the disruptions brought to Downstream by COVID-19, the event returns to its normal time of March and returns again to Wellington and with a new Government in place, there will be lots to discuss.
The programme for 2021 will be available in the near future, themes will include:
- Dry year reserves
- Lake Onslow
- Gas supply and demand
- Energy market design
- Distributed Energy Resources
- Emmisisons and decarbonisation
- Energy infrastructure and the RMA
- Governance of energy asset owners
- The role of energy in supporting NZ's indsutrial capability
