Frith Tweedie

Frith leads the EY Digital Law team. She has over 17 years’ experience advising NZ, UK and Australian clients on a range of digital and technology-related issues. She regularly assists clients with their privacy, technology, IP, artificial intelligence, e-commerce and consumer protection law needs. Before joining EY Law to set up and lead the Digital Law team, Frith established the GDPR programme for the New Zealand arm of a major global telecommunications company. She has also worked closely with a major bank’s digital teams on numerous data-driven digital initiatives. In her current role, Frith works closely with EY consultants advising on and implementing a range of technology and digital solutions. Frith has a particular interest in data privacy, AI and digital trust issues and speaks and writes regularly on those issues. She is the Chair of the Law, Ethics & Society working group of the AI Forum and is on the Australia New Zealand Advisory Board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
