Workshop 2: Exporting food - navigating the regulatory maze12 March 2020 | 9.00am - 12.30pm
Understanding and complying with overseas market requirements must be a core part of your product development if your product is to be cleared for import into your destination market. At this workshop you’ll get an overview of the broad picture, together with a roadmap to help you navigate your products export regulatory journey. It will be useful to product developers and manufacturers of food, beverages, dietary supplements or pet food, who are new to export or wanting to export to new markets.
- Planning for export success - how will you approach the sometimes bewildering maze of regulatory requirements when countries all have their own minefield of laws, regulations and agencies you’ll need to deal with?
- NZ regulatory framework and how this applies to export - if your product complies with New Zealand requirements, will it then be straightforward to send it overseas?
- Using the Export Regulatory Roadmap to guide product development
- How does regulatory compliance apply to online trading?
