2019 IT Architecture Forum
Aligning business, technology, customer and product in a digital age
The 2019 IT Architecture Forum was held this year at the Hilton on the waterfront in Auckland on 10-11 September 2019. The event was co-located with the DevOps Forum which was held on 11 September 2019.
Delegates were able to choose which conference sessions they attended across both events, and the forums bought together Head, Enterprise, and Solution Architects, as well as Test and Automation Engineers, Sofware Developers, and DevOps Leads.
A special thank you to the advisory panel who helped to create the agenda for this event which dealt with the challenges faced by the IT Architect in the digital age.
Highlights on day one included the opening sessions which dealt with trends affecting businesses in NZ and the use of innovative technology with a special NASA session. This was followed up by looking into customer centric architecture, exploring the impact of innovation and technology for IT Architects, as well as a closing keynote from Dawie Olivier.
Day two started with a legal and security update, before moving onto sessions on blockchain and architecture in the context of Agile. The afternoon started with discussions at the roundtables and followed up with closing sessions on culture and business success, and the importance of stakeholder communiction and collaboration.
A big thank you to David Molesworth who chaired the event over the two days, and also to our diamond sponsor Cyma, and networking drinks sponsor Salt.
