Keynotes at the conference
If “the brand” represents the promises a company makes to its stakeholders, user experience represents that company’s delivery on its promises. Dan’s 30-year career, in New Zealand, China and, briefly, the US, has centred around building systems and improving capability within a diverse range of companies to ensure that their brand promises are relevant, realistic and compelling, and assure that that their product and service delivery matches the expectations created. This has seen Dan occupy C-level/VP roles in marketing, user experience, product design and organizational learning, as well as or participating in entrepreneurial ventures in the digital technology, education, media, professional services and social enterprise sectors. A design thinker, facilitator and executive coach who combines sharp-edged strategy with a healthy degree of pragmatism, Dan’s focus is on transferring his knowledge, skills and methods to the leaders and influencers of ambitious and adventurous Kiwi businesses.
