2017 NZTECH Advance Education Technology Summit
Enhancing collaboration for 21st century learning
Let’s take our thriving Edtech community to the world! With New Zealand being a melting pot for Edtech companies, and gearing up to be a $200 billion global market, this forum showcased expert sessions examining how to leverage our unique capabilities and talent pool; and features real-life case studies exploring how companies have implemented commercial strategies to expand internationally.
At the heart of the Edtech industry lies innovation and collaboration. With the tech sector growing at an exponential rate right here in New Zealand, the Edtech for Export forum brought together diverse success stories from edtech companies to share their pathways to export and they obstacles they've overcome in entering multiple markets. This forum opened up by looking ahead at what the future holds for edtech and what investors are looking for, then we dive into case studies delivering real insights on the experiences edtech companies have had in this sector and the lessons learnt.
Over in the Tech & Pedagogy forum, speakers discussed the linkages between technology and pedagogy, and why this is a critical connection for the success of delivering a digital education for a digital generation. Hear from principals and digital leaders within schools on what the major pain-points in integrating technology and network with educators to collaborate.
With two streams to choose from, delegates had the opportunity to move between each forum to attend their session of choice and network with leaders and peers alike all under one roof!
