For the past 14 years Richard has been working within the finance team with SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited with responsibility for monthly financial reporting to the CEO and Board, external financial reporting, group taxation (including both New Zealand and Australia) and treasury operations. Previous to working for SKYCITY, Richard was with one of the Big Four for 14 years. For the last 12 months of that period he was a Director within the IFRS consulting practice. Prior to this Richard worked in audit. Richard is currently a member of the New Zealand Accounting Standards Board and a former member of the New Zealand Financial Reporting Standards Board and a former member of the External Reporting Advisory Panel.

Global Director of IFRS Research
Alan is the Global Director of IFRS Research at Deloitte. He contributes to the development of Deloitte’s global views on proposed and new IFRS requirements and is the lead author of Deloitte’s Thinking Allowed series. He also advises on the application of IFRS Standards and is the technical lead for the BP and GSK audits. Prior to joining Deloitte Alan was Senior Technical Director at the IASB. He was on the task force that wrote the Integrated Reporting Framework and co-wrote the first IFRS Taxonomy for use with XBRL. Alan joined the IASB from NZICA, where he was General Manager of Standards and Quality Assurance. Prior to that he was an academic at the University of Auckland and technical consultant to PwC and EY. Alan has a PhD in accounting and finance and is an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at the University of Auckland. He has written extensively, including an accounting text and many articles on accounting matters.
Sue Lloyd was appointed as vice-chair of the International Accounting Standards Board (Board) in October 2016, having served as a Board member since 2014. She was reappointed as vice-chair in April 2018 for a term of five years starting 1 January 2019. Prior to joining the Board, Ms Lloyd worked for the organisation as a senior technical director, leading the development of new IFRS Standards, and as director of capital markets with responsibility for the Board’s reform of accounting for financial instruments. Ms Lloyd also worked for the organisation from 2002 to 2004 as a technical project manager. She has held various positions in investment banking both in the UK and in Australia and has served as a member of the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB). She has a Master’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Liz is on secondment from KPMG in Australia to the IIRC. She began her professional career as a financial auditor, and has worked in the US and Europe, consulting to a broad range of Fortune 500 companies across various industries. This gave her extensive strategic, operational and financial experience and piqued her interest in the non-financial aspects of corporate performance and value creation. On her return to Melbourne, she held senior roles in Corporate Reporting, and Risk & Quality teams before joining the IIRC. Liz is a senior member of the IIRC’s Guidance Research and Training team, focused on delivering the IIRC’s technical programme. She also serves as Region Lead, Australasia, supporting the Australian and New Zealand markets to raise awareness and encourage adoption of Integrated Reporting.
