David Brown, MA (Oxon), Associate Professor in Law, University of Adelaide teaches and researches insolvency law, property law, and corporate governance.

He was a consultant to the Ministry of Economic Development on the insolvency law reform, and was on the Law Commission's Insolvency Law Advisory Committee. David is an author of several books, including Corporate Rescue, Land Law in New Zealand, and a contributor to Heath and Whale on Insolvency Law.

He is also a member of the Law Council of Australia's Insolvency Committee, and member of the Editorial Board of Insolvency Lawyer journal.
